Brethren,
Right Worshipful Blankinship has been kind enough to designate August as Junior Warden’s Night.
It will indeed be my pleasure to preside in the East at the upcoming stated communication, on August 4th. I have been planning to ensure that we have a great meeting and more of the good fun and fellowship which our Lodge is known for. Worshipful Bruce Catron will be speaking on the topic of “Masonry and Religion”. Worshipful Bruce is the pastor of First Congregational Church in Hopewell, and I am confident that you will enjoy his presentation.
On another topic, I would be remiss if I failed to mention our recently held “Officers Retreat” in beautiful Goshen, Virginia at the mountain lodge home of Right Worshipful Wimpy Isgett. We had a great meeting and fellowship at Millboro Lodge No. 28, and a great venison meal there. Our canoe trip on Friday was the most fun I have had in a long while, filled with beautiful scenery and good times. While canoeing was fun, the fellowship with my Masonic brothers was even better! I honestly wish you all could have joined us.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Earnie Wells, III
Junior Warden
